Bhubaneswar, Feb 26: PCC Chief Prasad Harichandan has criticized the railway budget presented in the Parliament today saying it offered no packages for the State.
“Prabhu’s budget is like a novel and the Railway Minister is day dreaming. There is nothing encouraging for the State as there are no new schemes, projects or trains,” Harichandan said.
The budget lacks foresight as there is no schedule to make the proposals announced by the Railway Minister feasible, Harichandan said.
He alleged that the Rail Minister did not mention anything about making Bhubaneswar station a world class station, rail coach factory, medical college and model station projects which were announced by the UPA government.
