Cuttack, Jan 13: Yesterday after the cops prayed to court to send Mishra on a three-day remand, the court, on the other hand, rejected the bail petition here. the SDJM court ordered to send Mahima Mishra to Chowdar jail and all directed all the jail authorities to make all required arrangements for his treatment.
The Commissionerate police had brought him from Samagol jail in Jagatsinghpur and sought for a three day remand to the court. The cops are to interrogate Mishra in connection with the Press chhak bombing case and Abhay Bhhat murder case. However, Mishra denied of all allegations put against him in front of media, when he was being taken in a police van from the court room yesterday. His counsel Gokulananda Mohapatra claimed that Mahima has been falsely implicated in such cases.
Mishra, the managing director of OSL, was arrested and is in jail since Dec 27 for being majorly involved in the murder of the general manager of Hyderabad-based Seaways Shipping and Logistics Ltd (SSLL).
