Covid-19 In Odisha: Daily Positivity Rate Declines To 7.58%
Odisha reported 4842 fresh Covid-19 Cases today, pushing State’s total (cases detected since the beginning of the pandemic) to 12,41,068. Of new cases reported today, 671 cases are under the age group of 0-18 years’.
Out of 4842 cases, 2809 are quarantine cases and rest 2033 are local contact cases, informed Odisha Health & Family Welfare Department.
Khurda District registered highest cases among districts (1253), followed by Cuttack (443), Nayagarh (210) and also 265 cases have been detected from the State Pool.

10,511 patients have recovered from the disease yesterday. With this, total recoveries reached 11,73,907.
15 people succumbed to the disease in 24 hours and total death toll reached 8575.
58,533 active cases are there at present. Daily Positivity Rate declined to 7.58 Percent.
