Crime Branch proposes to confiscate properties of Odisha based chit Fund Company:

Bhubaneswar: April 28: Properties of Chit Fund Company Vista Management Services Ltd may be confiscated soon. The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Crime Branch has proposed to the State Finance Department in this regard. The company has 14 acres of land, six vehicles and Rs 3.86 lakh in bank deposits.

Vista Management Services collected huge deposits from public through its branches in different parts of Odisha promising to provide 30% interest annually besides taking money from people assuring lands and flats.

A case was registered with Economic Offences Wing in 2015 following disappearance of Vista promoters with depositors’ money. Further, Crime Branch has investigated the matter and arrested managing director of the chit fund company Deb Kumar Panda, two directors – Manoj Kumar and Bijay Kumar Swain and a chartered accountant.
