Curfew in Soro town reimposed under Section 144 of CrPC

Balasore, Sept 13: The curfew which was relaxed between 8am-2pm today has been reimposed in Soro town from 6pm till 6am tomorrow to avoid any unwanted situation during the Id-Ul-Zuha celebrations.

As per the information, the curfew began from Monday evening till today morning. For mass prayers of Muslims during Id –Ul-Zuha, the curfew had been relaxed for some time.  Muslim Community people congregated at the Idgah field today morning.  As the police had imposed restrictions, no report of Jaloos has been observed till now.

On the other hand, Section 144 of CrPC which was imposed in the town yesterday, has been reimposed today, authorities informed. Following which no procession or congregation will allowed during the curfew time, said Niti Sekhar, SP of Balasore.
