Cuttack, Dec 15: Congress general secretary of Cuttack city Sanjit Bhuiyan died after being rescued in an injured state from Purighat in Cuttack last night.
Bhuiyan was rescued in an injured condition from roadside in Purighat at Cuttack yesterday and was admitted to the SCB medical college and hospital. Later after his conditions deteriorated he was shifted to a private hospital in the city, where he was declared dead.
While family members of Bhuiyan allege that he has been murdered, the police have started investigating into the matter.
