Cuttack, Feb 11: The arrested criminal brothers Sushil and Sushant Dhalsamant, who were scheduled to be produced before sub-divisional judicial magistrate (SDJM) here today for hearing on the police plea for a lie detection test, have been taken outside the state by the commissionerate police for further investigation into the murder of Dipu and Om.
According to sources, two investigating teams of the commissionerate police are investigating the murder of Dipu and Om outside the State.
The investigating team will interrogate the D-brothers about their involvement in the murders and the disposal of the bodies of the victims outside, sources said.
The two criminal brothers will return to Cuttack on Friday.
To ascertain the authenticity of the information extracted from the arrested criminal brothers Sushil and Sushant Dhalsamant, commissionerate police had on Tuesday moved the SDJM court seeking permission to conduct a lie detection on the gangster duo.
The commissionerate police was scheduled to produce the D-brothers in the court today for a hearing on lie detection test.
