Daily market gutted to fire, nearly 22 shops burned to ashes: No casualties reported

Bargarh, Apr 19: In a major fire breakout at the Hatapada daily market, nearly 22 shops including properties worth over lakhs were burned to ashes after two LPG cylinder busted out instantly at around 1 am early today.

Initiating at one part of the market, the flame spreading to the other end, burned down nearly 22 shops in the market. After being informed, three fire brigade team reached the spot and tried to doze of the fire with all their effort and time, said sources.

Though the main reason behind the cylinder blast is yet unknown, it is suspected to be mainly because of short circuit.
