Puri, May 1: In a tragic incident, nine families of Deland in Puri, who’s houses were burnt down by some unknown miscreants 2 days back over some political enmity, are spending their life in utter misery as they have to spend nights under open sky.
The fire that took place, burnt down their houses completely along with furniture, cash, food packs etc. The only things they have are the damaged walls of their houses and the clothes they were wearing.
However, the district administration is providing them cooked food along with polythene sheets for temporary shelter, while the tehsildar after assessing the damages in the village has assured a quick compensation and rehabilitation of the victims.
