Bhubaneswar: July 02: Due to some ‘technical glitch’, Delhi bound Air India Flight AI-076 was cancelled on Sunday. As said, the Air India flight reportedly developed some technical problem on the runway before its take off. All passengers were immediately asked by the crew to get down from the Plane as a safety measure.
Following the incident, the passengers travelling in the Air India flight started shouting after they were stranded at the airport. Angry scenes were witnessed at the Biju Pattnaik International Airport as passengers gheraoed the officials of the flight and asked for the reason over the cancellation of flight. Also, the annoyed passengers asked for alternative arrangement.
It is to be noted here,155 passengers had a close shave after an Air India flight from Mumbai to Bhubaneswar made an emergency landing at Mumbai airport on May 22. The flight AI-669 had to make the emergency landing after smoke was detected in its cockpit due to a suspected ‘technical snag’.
