Bhubaneswar: Dense fog to continue for 48 hours. Yellow warning has been issued for fog for 14 districts of Odisha for today.
The MeT department has issued yellow alert for Kendrapara, Jajpur, Khordha, Puri, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal and Sundergarh districts.
It has been observed that dense fog is affecting normal life. Besides, commuters are facing difficulties while travelling.
Such dense fog will be seen in the state tomorrow as well as per the forecast.
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for 11 districts for tomorrow. It has been advised to stop vehicular movement in the gorges and accident areas due to dense fog.
Currently, fog levels are intensifying due to the influx of warm, water vapour-rich air into the atmosphere of Odisha.
