Bhubaneswar, Jan 30: Bhartiya Janata Party has said that the publicity vans moving across the State were not aimed at publicizing the party but to invite the people to attend the gala dedication of the Indian Oil Refinery plant in Paradip on February seven by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Urging the leaders of the ruling Biju Janata Dal to desist from politicizing the issue, State Unit vice President Bhrigu Buxipatra said in a statement that the Rs 1.35 lakh crore project will create employment opportunities for over 50,000 persons in the State.
He said the publicity vans are moving across the State to invite the people to the function as Prime Minister will dedicated the project to the nation and there should not be any politics over it.
He said Prime Minister will be State’s guest and every one in Odisha should welcome him wholeheartedly rising above party politics, in an apparent reference to the opposition of BJD leaders to the publicity vans.
