Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has decided to prepare documentary films on two eminent freedom fighters of the state as a mark of respect towards them.
The documentary films will be produced on the lives and dedication of late Purosottam Nayak and
late Brundaban Tripathy.
Odisha Information and Public Relations department will make the documentaries.
Purosottam Nayak was the vice-president of All India Freedom Fighters Samiti. He was jailed several times during freedom movement.
Tripathy was a dedicated social reformer, a prominent freedom fighter and Bhudan movement leader. He had succeeded keeping his Badachana area out of British Rule for three months. Both the veterans were close to Mahatma Gandhi.
