Drop box at all Collectors’ office soon to gather suggestions for reforms in Sri Mandir affairs

Puri Shree Jagannath Temple Administration approves Rs 190 crore annual budget

Puri, Sept 13: With a view to bring reforms in the Management of Sri Mandir, suggestions and opinions of general people, Jagannath devotees and various social outfits will be solicited.

This was informed by Justice BP Das on Monday after a meeting was held with Chief Administrator of Sri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), Secretary Law, Collector of Puri, Niti Prasashak and other officials.

As per information from Justice Das, individuals, institutions can drop their suggestion through affidavits in drop boxes that will be put at all Collector’s office across Odisha.

One can give their suggestions online at Commission’s website and also through e-mails, sources said.

Notification regarding the terms of reference for making suggestions will be published soon, commission informed.

Servitors of Sri Mandir have welcomed the commission and all possible cooperation will be provided for the service of the Lord, said Joint Secretary of Daitapati Niyog, Binayak Dasmohapatra.
