Bhubaneswar: May 17: The state government odisha has decided to introduce e -admission procedure for vocational courses in Plus Two level from this year. The students passed in 10th Examination and interested to take admission in Plus II level government vocational colleges,can apply through SMS from any part of the state and can get detail information from the official site of Directorate of Vocational Education www.dheodisha.gov.in. Government also introduced common application form, which can be down loaded from official web site from 23rd May.

Currently there are 231 Plus II level government vocational colleges running on regular basis in the state and offering courses on Arts, Science and commerce and these colleges are imparting vocational subjects like Poultry Farming, Horticulture, Seri Culture, Inland Fisheries, Crop Production, Medical & Laboratory Technician, Audio Visual Technician, Building Maintenance, Computer Technique, repair and maintenance of Electrical Domestic Appliance, repair and maintenance of Power driven farm Machinery, Accountancy and Auditing, Insurance, Office Management, Tax Assistant, Creche and Pre-school Management, Catering and restaurant Management, Textile Designing and Tourism and Travel technique.
