Bhubaneswar, Jan 29 :With a view to avoiding rush in regular trains, East Coast Railway has decided to augment additional AC-3 Tier coaches permanently in Puri-Patna Baidyanathdham Express, Puri-Howrah Weekly Express & Puri-Digha Express and also General Second Class Chair Car in Sambalpur-Puri & Bhubaneswar-Bangiriposi Express permanently from February, 2016.
18303/18304 Sambalpur-Puri-Sambalpur Inter City Express will be augmented with one General Second Class Chair Car permanently w.e.f. 1st February from both the directions.
12892/12891 Bhubaneswar-Bangiriposi-
18449/18450 Puri-Patna-Puri Baidyanathdham Express will be augmented with one AC-3 Tier Coach permanently w.e.f. 8th February from Puri and w.e.f. 10th February, 2016 from Patna.
12896/12895 Puri-Howrah-Puri Weekly Express will be augmented with one AC-3 Tier Coach permanently w.e.f. 11th February from Puri and w.e.f. 12th February, 2016 from Howrah.
22890/22889 Puri-Digha-Puri Weekly Express will be augmented with one AC-3 Tier Coach permanently w.e.f. 13th February from Puri and w.e.f. 14th February, 2016 from Digha.
Apart from this, ECoR is also augmenting additional coaches temporarily in different important trains towards different destinations of the country from its jurisdiction according to the feasibility and demands from the passengers. Based on an analysis of the Passenger Traffic Profile on various routes, temporary augmentation of coaches in several Express trains is being done by attaching additional coaches.
