Sambalpur, Nov 22: Keeping in mind to terminate any unwanted situation during the visit of Odisha Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik to Sambalpur today, Sambalpur police has arrested as many as 90 both BJP and Congress activists.
As per sources, former MLA Jay Narayan Mishra, more than 65 BJP activists and five congress activists, till now, have been arrested by the police. Mishra was held at the Sasan police station while at the Mahila police station 18 activists were held.
As per the police sources, tight security arrangement for the CM’s visit has been made.
It may be noted that, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik would inaugurate various projects and lay foundation stones at Samabalpur, with this he would also inaugurate a new bus terminal at Ainthapali. After that senior citizens free pilgrimage scheme would also be set in motion at the Khetrajpur railway station.
