Angul/Tangi, Jan 10: In two different elephant attacks at two different places, one died and one sustained injuries on Tuesday.
In the Satkosia sanctuary, a man from Tuluka village in Angul died in an elephant attack. In another incident at Mangalajodi village, Tangi, Surendra Behera, a forest department staff sustained critical injuries in an elephant attack while he was trying to chase the elephant back to the forest.
Stating to be in a critical condition, Behera has been shifted to the hospital in Bhubaneswar.
