Bhubaneswar: In a big success Commissionerate Police nabbed two hard-core criminal following an exchange of fire in the capital city of Odisha yesterday night. Two dreaded criminal of the ‘Khora’ gang of Bihar have sustained bullet injury.
The injured criminals have been identified as Sonu Yadav and Manish Yadav from the Katihar area of Bihar.
As per reports, the Badagarh police and the Special Crime Unit came across a few gang members of the Bihar’s ‘Khora’ gang yesterday night in Bhubaneswar. After seeing Police the culprits opened fire and thus Police retaliated. There was a 7-round exchange of fire between the two sides.
In this exchange of fire (EoF), the 2 criminals were injured. Both of them have been admitted to the Capital Hospital for treatment.
Police have seized 2 guns and some live bullets from them.
It has been learned that both these criminals were involved in multiple kidnapping cases. They had snatched 6 gold chains from different women in Bhubaneswar on March 20.
