Chennai, Dec 17: On the second session of day 2 of the India-England test match played at the Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, England are at 352 for 7 at Lunch in 119 overs while Adil Rashid and Liam Dawson are at the crease.
Though the Indian bowlers had a heck of a struggle yesterday taking wickets, the day 2 has started good for India. The first English wicket of the day fell on the first over of the day itself bowled by Ashwin.
Soon later Buttler was dismissed for 6 on the 96th over by Ishant with an lbw while Mo’ Ali got caught by Jadeja in Umesh’s ball.
With this Jadeja has got 3 wickets with him while Ishant carries 2, Ashwin and Umesh hold 1 each, by lunch.
Still 3 wickets to go, and lets see if India can bowl England out soon to bat in the second day itself.
