Berhampur, Aug 22: After Prakash Swain had filed a complaint with Polasara police at Bhabarada village in the Ganjam district against four miscreants for eve teasing with his daughter, the irate miscreants on Sunday attacked Prakash and his wife Kamala. While Prakash had sustained critical injuries in the attack, Kamala died at the hospital when she was undergoing treatment as she had sustained serious injuries.
After this incident, the agitated locals of Bhabarada village placed Kamala’s body on the road and staged road blockade and also burned a police jeep today morning, demanding the immediate arrest of those miscreants.
However, to avoid any unwanted situation, around seven platoons police force have been deployed at the spot.
