Bhubaneswar, March 30: An archaeology expert Prof AP Gupta Tuesday visited the Shree Mandir to check the condition of the Jagmohan of the Jagannath Temple in Holy Town Puri.
Gupta also scrutinised the report submitted by the Core Committee.
Notably, in a meeting held on March 19, the technical committee had discarded the crack stitching process, while reasoning out that it would only intensify the cracks and destroy the stones.
While detail road map containing the structure of steel frames, type of frames had been prepared and after consultation with the Chhatisa Niyogs, the inspection of interiors of the ceiling and subsequent drilling would be done, informed the committee.
