Bargarh,Mar 1: Yesterday a farmer here died when he was being treated at the Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR). The name of the farmer was Khainu Bagarti of Kenpalli village here. On Sunday the farmer had consumed poison for having a severe crop loss and debt burden. ater, his family members had admitted him at the VIMSAR. Irate villagers staged a road-block on the Bargarh-Sohela road keeping Khainu’s body on the road demanded adequate compensation for the family of the deceased.
