Bhubaneswar, Apr 12: Yesterday fire broke out in Badabandha village of Athamallick block in Angul that claimed nearly 80 houses of nearly 40 families. Senior officials of district administration including BDO and Tehsildar rushed to the spot and it took almost an hour for the fire personnel to douse the flames. An assessment would be made to ascertain the loss of property in the fire mishap and efforts are on to provide assistance to the affected families. Another fire broke out in Majanri village in Nayagarh in which 40 houses were gutted in.
