Odapada: In a tragic incident, the body of a fisherman was recovered from the Brahmani river at around 11 a.m. today. Amarendra Samal, 37, of Jharasahi, Patna village, Bulpur under Sadar police station, went to the Brahmani river on Sunday morning to catch fish, but did not return home by evening. The family, however, could not search the riverbank for the fear of elephants. This morning, family members, with the help of the Hindol Road fire brigade, rescued Amarendra from the banks of the Brahmani river near Rasasingh village. Police have launched a case and are investigating.
