Khurdha, July 26: Bikram Keshari Arukh, the Forest and Environment minister, while on his way to Berhampur to attend a programme, escaped a near miss, when a truck hit the rear side of his car in which he was travelling, near Daleiput on Tuesday night.
The minister, his security personnel and driver somehow managed to come out of the vehicle unhurt while the vehicle was damaged and was not in a good state. The local MLA reached the spot with police and enquired the situation. Police have seized the truck and arrested its driver.
The minister later came back to Bhubaneswar in another vehicle.
