Hindol: In a tragic incident, a forester in-charge was killed as a poacher shot at him. The forester has been identified as Prahlad of Hindol area in Dhenkanal district of Odisha.
According to reports, the forester was initially critically injured in a poacher’s gunshot. He and his team had gone to catch the poacher and was shot. He was admitted to Angul Medical College.
According to information available, the Forest Department received information about the presence of poachers near Rajmohanpur area in Hindol police station late last night.
