Damodar Rout resigns from BJP

Bhubaneswar: October 16: Damodar Rout resigned from the primary membership of BJP on Wednesday. He has submitted his resignation letter to BJP Odisha President Basanta Kumar Panda. As he expressed, he felt neglected in Party and also Party has not been involving him in Party Programmes and Policy Making Process.

He said that after getting expelled from the Biju Janata Dal, prominent leaders of BJP had approached him to join the Party and he joined in presence of National President in New Delhi.

After joining the Party, Rout was appointed as the convener of Odisha BJP Campaign Committee.

Former Minister and seven times MLA Dr.Rout also decided to quit active politics, but he will continue to work for the welfare of the people.
