Bhubaneswar, Nov 28: In the way where demonetization hits the country, people still continue to buy and sell properties in the estate market.
Bargarh police arrested four persons identified as Arun Kumar Sahu of Palla Village of Khurda, Ashok Mishra of Kabisuryanagar in Gajam, Dipak Singh of Nayapalli IRC village and Dillip Debarta of Gandhi Nagar in Raygada District, and forwarded them to court for allegedly selling a plot at Tamando to Satyaban Sahu of Nayagarh at a cost of Rs 14.40 Lakhs by producing fake documents in the month of July.
The matter came into light when Satyaban was erecting a boundary wall on the plot and then actual owner of the land came and opposed him.
