Cuttack, Sept 23: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) General Manager, Umesh Singh on Thursday announced that this year during Durga Puja festival in October, Wi-Fi services will be provided at Cuttack Railway Station any time, which would make the Station one of the major railway stations in India.
The high speed internet facility over the RailWire Wifi at the Station would be available to any user who has a working mobile connection on a smart phone or on any laptop device which would provide better comfort to its thousands of passengers who travel by trains everyday.
Besides, Singh addressed the media and said that the construction work of the lift at platform number 1 and 2 is going on and is expected to get over very soon. Also, after the completion of some ongoing development work, escalators would be provided at the Station.
