Ganjam Gold Loot case: Cops nab one accused yesterday

Berhampur, Dec 9: In connection to the Ganjam gold jewellery loot incident in which five miscreants came on a bike and looted gold ornaments worth of more than a kg from the owner of a jewellery shop named Pramod Chandra Moharana of Subas Jewellers, at gunpoint near Buguda here last month on Nov 25, the cops have taken one of the accused into custody.

They have also seized 176 gram of molten gold after raiding a shop. They have nabbed Rs 46,000 cash and six mobile phones from the possession of the accused named Manoj. The police are trying their best to catch the rest. Three teams had been formed to nab the miscreants. All this was informed to media by the Bhanjanagr SDPO, Utkal Keshari Das.
