Keonjhar, Jan 7: Today, a class IX girl died when a trailer hit her. The incident took place at Harichandanpur college chhak, here. Sources said, at around 9 AM today, the speeding trailer hit the girl following which the girl died on the spot.
Soon after the incident, road blockade was staged by the locals. They had blocked the Naranpur-Duburi road and demanded compensation for the deceased’s family.
Police has started investigating the matter on reaching the spot after being informed by the locals.
