The global Covid-19 caseload reached 224 million. Also, the death toll crossed 4.62 million.
According to the Johns Hopkins University‘s Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE), the current global caseload and death toll stood at 224,215,675 and 4,623,663 respectively.
So far US has reported 40,920,922 number of Covid-19 cases and 659,691 deaths, which is highest among the countries.
India is next to US in terms of infections with 33,208,330 cases. Next is Brazil with 20,989,164 cases.

UK registered 7,231,111 so far, followed by Russia with 7,019,200 cases, France 6,982,683 cases, Turkey 6,613,946 cases, Iran 5,275,567 cases, Argentina 5,223,604 cases, Colombia 4,928,578 cases, Spain 4,907,461 cases, Italy 4,601,749 cases, Indonesia 4,163,732 cases, Germany 4,080,180 cases and Mexico 3,494,232 cases.
In terms of deaths, Brazil comes second with 586,558 fatalities and India is at No.3 with 442,317 cases, followed by Mexico 266,849 deaths, Peru 198,673 deaths, Russia 188,546 deaths, Indonesia 138,701 deaths, the UK 134,469 deaths, Italy 129,885 deaths, Colombia 125,592 deaths, France 116,095 deaths, Iran 113,824 deaths and Argentina 113,356 deaths.
