Bhubaneswar: June 04: Officials of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), Transport Department and representatives of Private Bus Owners Association met today at state secretariat on Saturday to finalise the issue on ‘toll fee collection and re-location of toll gates’. Just after the meeting, Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi said that toll fee will be collected as usual, but government will submit a report over the re-location of the toll gates within a month. It is learnt that discussions were held on different projects in the State, which includes works of 2,000 km of National Highway. Out of which, only 620 kms of road work has been completed. Also the officials attended the meeting, discussed on forest land conservation and acquisition. Chairman NHAI Raghav Chandra said, the State Government has been asked to submit a project report and the NHAI will also take further action as per the report.
