Malkangiri: Development commissioner Upendranath Behera on Tuesday led a three-member team to Malkangiri to take stock of progress on the construction of the vital Gurupriya bridge.
During the visit, the team discussed with the BSF personnel about safety and security of the personnel engaged in the construction.
Malkangiri is infested by Maoists, who have been attempting to foil the government’s attempt to complete the bridge at earliest.
