New Delhi: Union Coal, Power and New and Renewable Energy Minister Piyush Goyal has launched ‘Access to Clean Cooking Energy and Electricity- Survey of States Report’ in an event on Tuesday organised by Council of Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) in New Delhi.
Speaking on the occasion, Goyal said that the whole world wants to invest in India today. People are happy that there is consistent policy stability now. Tax laws are stable and policy framework on renewable is getting very robust.
Ashutosh Jindal, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Arunbha Ghosh, CEO, CEEW, Jamshyd Godrej, Chairperson, CEEW, Narayab Swaroop Nigam, Chairman & MD, West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited were also present at the occasion.
