Puri: Lord Jagannath will adorn ‘Harihara besha’ today. After the Abakasha ritual, devotees can witness the ‘Harihara besha’. The Srimandir deity is adorned in half- black and half-white garments along with 32 pieces of exquisite gold ornaments.
The devotees rejoice at the sight of the decorated Lord. The ‘Harihara besa’ is celebrated on the Monday following the Diwali and before Sukla Dasami. This year two Mondays have occurred between Diwali and Shukla Dasami (10th day) and therefore today the Lord is garnered with ‘Harihara besha’.
