Bhubaneswar: Has the election results of Haryana Assembly has silenced the Congress and its leader Rahul Gandhi? It appears so. The party is perhaps so shocked that it does not find any issue to target Prime Minister Narendra Modi or the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government at the Centre. The ‘Nafrat ke Bazaar Mein Mohabbat Ke Dukan’ of Rahul Gandhi is also virtually facing closure with no fresh ‘stocks’ or ‘customers.’ The ‘Kissan, Pehlwan, jawan and Sambidhan’ slogan of RaGa is outdated now after the Haryana Assembly polls as his party has been discarded by the electorate in the state.
The George Soros angle is also impacting the ‘popularity’ graph of the Congress party and Ra Ga who had been upbeat after the 2024 Lok Sabha election bagging 99 seats. His party had been hyping about the rise in popularity of RaGa after the success and crediting the success of INDIA bloc to rise in ‘stature’ of the Congress leader.
With Trump winning the Presidency in the United States of America, the anti-India and anti-Modi group has gone silent as Trump has publicly announced about his closeness with the Indian Prime Minister. The appointment of Tulsi Geward at the head of the intelligence network of the US, has also hit the anti-India group hard. Tulsi, though an Americaln by birth is a staunch believer of Hinduism and practicing Hindu.
There is a wait with bated breath for the outcome of the Maharashtra and Jharkhand Assembly elections which is all probability will decided the future of the Gandhi family scion and the party. As of now the Congress appears to have lost the edge to its rival—Mahayuti in Maharashtra and NDA in Jharkhand. The lackluster campaigning by the Congress and Rahul Gandhi in both the States is an indication of the INDIA block conceding to the NDA in both these states. If Mahayuti—the alliance of BJP, Shiv Sena (Shinde) and NCP (Ajit Pawar)—wins the polls, the Congress will find itself in a tight spot.
