Balasore, July 11: On a surprise visit, Health and Family Welfare Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak has visited Balasore to review situation of diarrhoea on Monday .
He has visited the district headquarters hospital (DHH) and interacted with the patients.
By attending a review meeting, he discussed about the situation of Oupada area, the place where large number of people are suffering from diarrhoea.
After the review meeting, he has advised the districts headquarter hospital to take necessary actions of patient’s for early cure.
Regarding the dengue situation, he has informed about the special provision for dengue patients provide in SCB medical college and hospital in Cuttack . The number of bed in the special dengue ward has been increased to 100. For timely treatment a team of doctors has been deployed in the hospital. ELSIA machines will be provided to all the hospitals for early diagnosis of dengue.
In review meeting, Rabindra Jena, MP of Balasore, Five MLAs of the district, Zilla Parishad chairperson and district collector were present.
