Bhubaneswar, Aug 3; On the basis of a connection with Motilal Gouda, who is involved in the fake gazette notification scam and lodged in Jharpada jail, Crime Branch on Wednesday has interrogated Himanshu Kar aka Happy.
As per the information till now, Kar has been interrogated by a DCP rank officer for his link with Gouda. During his interrogation, Kar submitted some bank documents and contract business related papers in the name of his wife and brother.
Himanshu Kar, a grade-III employee has around Rs 2.5 core in his bank account. The source from where the money has come is being probed by the investigating agency.
A photo of Kar with Gouda has been found. Kar is suspected to be working as a mediator between Gouda and Ministers.
