Phulbani, Sept 6: Last night a man allegedly injured his wife named Panchami Digal by throwing acid on her in the Dimiriguda village under Phiringia police limits.
The reason is said to be the suspicion of having an extra-marital affair. Panchami’s husband poured acid on her while she was asleep. Immediately, she was taken to the community health center and was later shifted to district headquarters hospital in Phulbani.
