Bargarh, Mar 20: Bargarh SDPO Suresh Kumar Nayak, in informed at a press meet today that nine persons have been arrested by the police here while raiding to control illegal drugs trade at various places of Bargarh Town and Ambabhona Tehsil. 231 bottle of cough syrups, 5 strips of drug pills and a bike have been seized during the raids from the accused. Under the instruction of Bargarh SP a special team squad had been formed to nab the nine. The accused were local residents who used to import the drugs from Chhattisgarh and sell them here. The SDPO informed this to the media adding that two separate cases of Ambabhona and Bargarh is to be forwarded to court today.
