Bhubaneswar: August 10: As said by Met Centre in its Mid Day Bulletin, SW monsoon has been subdued over Odisha.
Light to moderate rain/ thundershower has occurred at a few places over the districts of Odisha with Heavy rainfall at one or two places over the districts of RAYAGADA of South Interior Odisha & JAJPUR of North Coastal Odisha.
The highest maximum temperature of 36.1oC was recorded at ANGUL and the lowest minimum temperature of 19.50C was recorded at PHULBANI in the plains of Odisha.
As per IMD, from 13.30 of 10th August to 830 hours IST of 11th August, Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Nawarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Bolangir, Nuapada, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Nayagarh, Cuttack and Jajpur. Yellow warning has been given for the said districts.
From 0830 hrs IST of 11.08.2021 upto 0830 hrs IST of 12.08.2021, Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal & Rayagada. A Yellow warning for these districts has been issued by the IMD.
From 0830 hrs IST of 12.08.2021 upto 0830 hrs IST of 13.08.2021, heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore & Bhadrak.
Also, Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati,Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Nawarangpur.
