Increase in day temperatures in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Mar 27: Weather has been dry over Odisha. Maximum temperatures observed no large change over Odisha. They were above normal over Interior Odisha and normal over Coastal Odisha. Minimum temperatures observed no large change over Odisha. They were normal over South Coastal Odisha and above normal over rest Odisha.

Having a clear sky witha shallow to moderate fog likely to occur, Odisha’s capital city is likely to experience in the next 24 hours a maximum and minimum temperature of 36 degree Celsius and 25 degree Celsius respectively on Monday.

The relative humidity will be 88 percent at its maximum and 48 percent at its minimum, as said by the MeT. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday weather to be dry in Odisha and heat wave condition to be in one or two places in Interior Odisha. On Tuesday and Wednesday, Coastal Odisha and adjoining districts of Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenakanal, Mayurbhanj and Kandhamal will be having rainfall with thunder squall and hail storm with the speed of wind being 50-60 kmph but Interior Odisha to be dry. As per the weather forecasters, an increase in day temperatures in Coastal and Interior Odisha but more than 40 degrees in Interior Odisha likely from Apr 1.

For the farmers, Coastal Odisha and adjoining districts of Keonjhar, Angul, Mayurbhanj and Kandhamal will be having rainfall with thunder squall and hail storm with the speed of wind being 50-60 kmph but Interior Odisha to be dry.

The highest maximum temperature of 43.00C was recorded at Titlagarh and the lowest minimum temperature of 17.00C was recorded at Sundergarh in the plains of Odisha.
