India Book of Records marks the entry of the ‘Google Girl of India’

Bhubaneswar: June 28: India Book of Records includes another name in its pages, the name of a 10-year old girl, Meghali Malbika Swain who had created her stand as the ‘Google Girl of India’ when she was just 5 for displaying remarkable Encyclopedia Knowledge. This child at such a young age has set a record by imparting names of 165 rivers in European Countries in one single minute at one breath. In the year 2013, she was highlighted by Electronic and Print media across the country.

The talent in her is peculiar and noteworthy. She has an outstanding knowledge on world geography, can identify and locate any country or any physical geographical feature of the world on a blank world map. Her ability doesn’t end here. She is capable to expatiate names of all 196 countries along with their physical features, capitals, currencies, languages and national flags. Meghali has also an aptness of playing brilliant violin.

On Sunday Biswadeep Roy Chowdhury of IBR judged the spot adjudication of her talent. Meghali achieved the feat at an event at Odisha Administrative Service Association Bhawan. She has also made an attempt to create a unique record by uttering the names of 1000 rivers in just eight minutes, the result of which is yet to come out. The Governor of Odisha, Dr. S.C. Jamir and Baba Ramdev felicitated her. Meghali is a student of Sai International School in Bhubaneswar. Her father, Prafulla Kumar Swain, an OAS Service currently working with IDCO and mother Nabanita expressed their daughter’s talent, hard work and dedication happily.
