India keen to intensify its Hydrocarbon cooperation with African nations

New Delhi, Nov 1: Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that India is keen to intensify its Hydrocarbon cooperation with African nations on upstream, midstream and downstream areas.

On the margins of 3rd India Africa Forum Summit (IAFS) Pradhan met the dignitaries from various African countries on 28-30th October. He called on Presidents of Nigeria,Ghana, Vice Presidents of Angola, Tanzania, Prime Minister of Mozambique, Ministers of Oil and Gas of South Sudan, Minister of World Affairs of Algeria and Minister of Economic Affairs of Gabon.

During the meeting, Pradhan stressed upon the potential to graduate to an energy partnership between India and the African nations.
