Bhubaneswar: July 01: India has recorded 18,653 new COVID-19 positive cases in last 24 hours, taking total confirmed cases so far to 5,85,493.
Also, 507 deaths were reported in the last 24 hour and the total death toll due to COVID-19 jumped to 17,400.
As per the health Ministry’s information, 3,47,979 patients have already recovered from the infection and 2,20,114 people are under active medical supervision. The recovery rate is now 59.43%.
Maharashtra continues to be the worst-affected State with 1,74,761 cases, followed by Tamilnadu with 90,167 cases and Delhi with 87, 360 cases.
