Bhubaneswar: October 06: India reported 61,267 fresh COVID Positive Cases on Tuesday, taking the total tally to 66,85,082. In fact, this is the lowest single-day spike since August.
In last 24 hours, 75,787 patients have recovered from the disease and with this, recovered cases in India now stand at 56,62,490. Also, the recovery rate increased to 84.70 per cent.
The fatality rate has come down to 1.55 per cent, the data from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said. In last 24 hours, 884 patients succumbed to the disease and so far, 1,03,569 patients lost the battle against the viral disease.
As per Govt.Data, India conducted 10,89,403 sample tests in a single day on Monday, taking the total number of samples tested so far to 8,10,71,797.
