Bhubaneswar: September 27: India recorded 88,600 new Corona Positive Cases in last 24 hours, pushing the total tally to 59,92,532.
According to the Health Ministry’s data, 1,124 persons succumbed to the disease in last 24 hours and with this, total death toll in the Country increased to 94,503.
92,043 patients recovered from the viral disease in last 24 hours and total recoveries now stand at 49,41,627.
At present, 9,56,402 cases are active in India, which is 15.96 per cent of total cases.
India’s recovery rate is 82.46 per cent while the fatality rate has come down to 1.58 per cent, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare data said.
Maharashtra reported 13,21,176 COVID-19 Cases and 35,191 deaths so far, followed by Andhra Pradesh 6,68,751 cases & 5,663 deaths, Tamilnadu 5,75,017 cases & 9,233 deaths, Karnataka 5,66,023 cases & 8,503 deaths and Uttar Pradesh 3,82,835 cases & 5,517 deaths.
According to Indian Council of Medical Research data, India conducted 9,87,861 sample tests on Saturday, taking the total tests so far to 7,12,57,836.
