India Reports 2,58,089 New Covid Cases In 24 Hours
India registered 2,58,089 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. With this figure today, Covid-curve showed marginal improvement today.
In total, 8,209 Omicron cases have been detected so far; an increase of 6.02% since yesterday.
As many as 385 people died due to Covid-19 during last 24 hours and total death toll increased to 4,86,451, as said by Health Ministry.
1,51,740 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients (since the beginning of the pandemic) is now at 3,52,37,461.
Consequently, Country’s recovery rate stands at 94.27%.

India’s Active Caseload is presently at 16,56,341. Active cases constitute 4.43% of the country’s total Positive Cases.
The last 24 hours saw a total of 13,13,444 tests being conducted. India has so far conducted over 70.37 Cr (70,37,62,282) cumulative tests.
While testing capacity has been enhanced across the country, Weekly Positivity Rate in the country currently stands at 14.41% and the Daily Positivity rate also reported to be 19.65%.
